Asus 1005PE: my little netbook

Due to some error in filesystem, I have to erase all hard disk of my fantastic netbook. An old model of Asus eee: 1005PE.
It's a great netbook, also with only 1 gb of ram. Battery life is fantastic, also with Linux - I use it for over 7 hours.
Today I have to reinstall Xubuntu, the distribution which I usually use on it. XFCE is lightweight and fits perfectly on this netbook.
But..every time I have to do a clean installation I have to do some startup configuration.
And every time..it's boring searching over the web all of this.
Well, now I list them here. Maybe can be useful for someone.
Fix brightness:
Open /etc/default/grub and add to GRUB_CMDLINE_LINUX_DEFAULT="quiet splash" this string: "acpi_osi=Linux acpi_backlight=vendor"
Install Jupiter:
add-apt-repository ppa:webupd8team/jupiter
apt-get update
apt-get install jupiter
Then Restart.
After this, I always tweak some appearence file to improve desktop experience. For example I change color and background of Terminal, move Xfce-panel and personalize it, and select some Openbox configuration for reduce response time.
Maybe I will upload some configuration file later..
